As a lifelong Leeds United fan and someone who has been very close to the club, I want to express my deep admiration and respect for Stix.

I have heard many random stories of his kindness, helpfulness and making a profound positive difference to peoples' lives, often by going out of his way to help them.

The players naturally loved him, quite rightly so, because they see someone who they can trust, who loves the club and who will never let them or the club down.

I think Stix is unique in football. He has earned the respect of players, managers, coaches...everyone from all levels of football. As far as I am concerned, he is a diamond with so very many positive values and a tremendous work ethic.

People like Stix should be revered and celebrated by the club. 

I am ashamed of Leeds United in their treatment of him. Disgraceful and disrespectful.

I wish Stix and his family only good things. Respect to man of utmost integrity.
