I’ll never forget seeing Stix at the Leeds United Trust Exhibition with Pablo Hernandez. I asked him if Marcelo Bielsa would like a copy of my book “Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United, Leeds United 2018-19. He said definitely, so I signed a book and gave it to him to hand to Marcelo.
The next day Stix rang me to say that Marcelo said thank you which was was lovely. The next day, I received a phone call from the great man himself to say thank you. What a wonderful moment knowing he’d taken the time to thank me personally.
Stix then arranged for me to meet up with Marcelo at Elland Road before a game where there were TV cameras filming and I got a hug from him. Great memories and all thanks to Stix for arranging this for me.
