Hi this is Ziggy it was his birthday 16 August and we met Stix 21 years ago when he gave Ziggy a brilliant 21 birthday he arranged for Ziggy to visit Thorpe park training ground we had lunch with all the players went all round ground had a kick about sadly Ziggy fell asleep the following April 2005 Stix you are a gentle man and a star we will always be friends thank you for all you did for Ziggy

14 seasons ago I started my dream job as match host at Elland Road interviewing the Legends. I have been lucky enough to know Stix for all those years and always look forward to seeing his cheery face and having our chats on match days. However, Stix may not remember our first encounter when my son and I were just normal season ticket holders before I worked there. We got to know David Healey’s wife Emma and one match day she got us 2 tickets for the sacred players lounge. My son Oscar, (who now runs the YouTube channel “All Leeds T.V.”) was absolutely thrilled as Stix took him around all the players getting photos and autographs, we will always remember his kindness that day. It’s a pleasure to know you mate, you really are Leeds United!
When my husband was 65, 6yrs ago our daughter contacted Stix asking if he could get the players to sign a birthday card for him. She sent Stix the card and not only did he get the team to sign it, but he also asked Marcelo Bielsa to sign a letter on behalf of the management and playing staff congratulating him on his 65th Birthday.
We subsequently had them professionally framed, alongside the certificate for his inscribed stone at Centenary Square Elland Road. Thank you so much for doing this for him Stix he/ we were all blown away!!
Also lovely to see you yesterday in The Flyline Garforth ironically a day after hubby Les 71st birthday!! ALAW MOT 💙💛🤍 xxx
