When I first signed for Leeds as a young teenager, Stix was one of the first people I met. From day one, he was such a welcoming, genuine guy. He helped me with so much and immediately made me feel part of the Leeds family.
Stix is Leeds through and through. He’s been there through the thick and thin and has an incredible love for the club. So much of the work he does goes unnoticed, but the impact he has on the players certainly doesn’t. He’s always there, doing whatever he can to make players feel at home, helping them settle in and making sure they have everything they need to go out and perform on the pitch every week.
He’s someone who would do absolutely anything for the players, at any time, and I feel incredibly lucky to have met him during my career. More importantly, I’m proud to still call him a friend and someone I still speak to to this day.
An absolute Leeds legend, a great friend and a genuinely lovely man with a wonderful family.
Love you, Stix. 💙💛
