I had the pleasure of meeting Stix when i visited Elland Road and the TG to discuss terms to work for the club. Stix looked after me and we shared reminiscences of the Revie era when we were young lads. His warmth and kindness that day as things did not work out for me was the abiding memory. It says much about the man that to this day we keep in touch.

Stix has assisted an immeasurable number of Leeds United fans over the years, and in various situations – from Match Days and ‘Leeds on the Road’ events, to celebrations, bereavements and ill health; assisting fans at the best and sometimes most-difficult times of their lives.
“The fans are the heartbeat of Our Club” he says, and Marcelo Bielsa himself called him ‘The Bridge’ between the Club and the supporters.
Stix sums up the heart of a football fan. Wether you choose your team or it chooses you, you feel the passion constantly, hourly, daily & for life. Hairs on your skin standing up with no control. He”s Leeds, he”s ours & luckily I know him. Thanks for your dedication to all things Leeds, especially in the fight to save The TV Harrison Sports Ground. Proud that you”re LEEDS x
Stix is leeds united any thing you need or want stix can not help you enough a great person and a really Good friend MOT
Stix has made lots of family members so happy, arranging for signed letters and cards from players and coaching staff. Nothing is too much trouble.
In January 2009 and on behalf of the Leeds children”s charity, PhysCap, I contacted Stix to ask if he could arrange for Simon Grayson to officially open the Pavilion at Green Meadows Special School in Guiseley. Not only did he arrange for this to happen, he actually brought Simon to the school too. The event went without a hitch, but the bit that no one saw was the work done behind the scenes by Stix. A true unsung hero to charities.
I”ve known peter for 30 odd years
Great man great friend and what not everyone knows.. great drummer
I worked with him for 10 years in the 90s at crossgates club when acts still needed backing… he knew every song … every tempo..Every Friday he would devise a quiz for the punters which were very popular… every week he would say question 1 and I”d shout out who won the cup in “73?… he wasn”t impressed ….. great times despite the occasional run in with committees!
The last time we played together was eldest daughter Dawns wedding…. it was very apt… The reception was at his beloved elland road surrounded by his beloved family
cheers mate x
” Stix ” personifies team before self.
He was reaching out to us in the US, long before it was normal and usual.
He was instrumental in helping us present the 20-21 Leedsadelphia Player of the Year Award to Stuart Dallas.
Stuart gave us a signed shirt, now the centerpiece of our clubhouse/bar,
” Stix is Leeds to us all “.
Stix is a top, top bloke. He arranged to have us present the 2020-2021 Leedsadelphia Player of the Year Award to Stuart Dallas. Stuart gave us a signed shirt, now the centerpiece of our clubhouse/bar. Stix is Leeds to us all.
Just to add what a smashing guy Stix is and who-with his lovely missus-have helped Blackpool Whites RMC and many other groups over the years, and who has worked tirelessly to provide a bond between all Leeds United fans and the club.
We need him back in harness as he puts a friendly and kind face on fans” dealings with the club, and makes us all feel welcome and appreciated in our support.
“Marching on Together” as they sing around Elland Road
Stix sent my dad a life long fan certificate when he was diagnosed with cancer. Really thoughtful and kind thing to do and my dad now has it hung on his living room wall. Thanks Stix
