One constant from my time at Leeds United was your cool calm presence Stix.
Stix you were everything to the lads, a father figure and confidant who would also have to get down in the trenches when the lads wanted to take the Mickey out of you, but you never came up short. When I think about you, I can’t see you without your blue jacket, proud man, it was like a suit of armour with the badge on. If the club was in battle, then you are the kind of guy who would sign up first.
Football clubs need people like you because when everyone is getting carried away you know that someone still has to lock up and turn the lights on and off.
Thanks for your friendship.
