What to say about this young man?! Well, I’ll start by saying that every club needs a Stix!
When you move to a new club it is daunting.
When you move to Leeds United, it’s TERRIFYING!
The size of the club, the history, the expectation, the scrutiny, you feel as though the whole world is watching and judging, waiting to “take you down a peg or two”.
That’s where Stix makes the difference. His warm, friendly presence calms you. His jokes make you laugh (and cry!!). His attention and support make you feel as though you’re not just part of a big club, but part of a big family.
Thank you Peter. You’re the legend that’s there every day, not just Saturday at 3pm.
