Stix was the first person I met when I signed for Leeds United in 2004.
He met my dad and me at Elland Road, showed us around the stadium and then took us over to the training ground. His warm welcome, knowledge and genuine passion for the club are unmatched.
Even all these years later, my dad still talks about Stix and the impression he made on us.
People like Stix are what football clubs are all about. Every club needs someone who understands its history, respects its traditions and makes sure that everybody who walks through the door knows what the badge really means.
