When I arrived at Leeds from Portsmouth the first person, I met was Stix. I could tell straight away what a real genuine person he was and that he loved Leeds United.
During my time at Leeds, he was the go-to person at the club. If anything needed to get done, if a player needed help with anything. Stix would always be there to help or give guidance.
For me, he is the heart of the club.
Every match day he would help with the players’ families, and for me this was huge as my wife had never lived up north and he made her feel very welcome.
Not only was he a good man, he had a sense of humour, he was caring, but he also told the truth. He cared.
I truly believe every club needs someone like Stix.
Wish him and his family all the very best.
Thank you
Jason
