Having joined Leeds United in the season of 2007 Stix was one of the first people to greet me and make myself and my family welcome at the club.
As you can imagine Leeds United would be one of the biggest clubs any of us have played for during our careers so arriving as a newbie would be very intimidating.
From the first time I met Stix he had warmth about him and we became friends instantly
As you settle into the club going to home and away games you get to see how important Stix has to be to every single player that is fortunate to put on a Leeds shirt. Anything you need Stix is always on call to help
Stix has been the fabric of the club for nearly 60+ years and he has remained true to himself as a person and has kept his integrity with people and how he treats them.
We are now in 2026 and myself and Stix are still in touch even though I’m no longer at the club and I’m not the only player he has these relationships with
All I can say is that I truly appreciate all that Stix has done for myself and my family and he is a true reflection of Leeds United
