In 2012 I was asked to join my mentor Neil Warnock at Leeds United as part of his staff as a fitness coach.
Unfortunately we only stayed at the club for just over a year but it was a real honour to represent them. During my first day I met Stix Lockwood, a person many football people told me about before my arrival.
He was , diligent, organised, hard working and professional .
But what I most liked was his smile, his laugh and his humour. I loved his company. I loved his warmth and he is a credit to the club, the city and the community .
I saw him only yesterday after many years. As always his warmth and humour were infectious
