I had the pleasure of working with Stix during my time at Leeds United and he was one of the people who really made me understand what the club was all about. His passion for Leeds, his stories, his knowledge of the club and the years he had given to it were infectious.
You could see how much Leeds United meant to him and, without probably even realising it, he passed some of that on to me. He played a big part in the affection I still have for Leeds today. Stix is one of those people you meet in football who you don’t forget, and I’m very fortunate that our paths crossed.
A great man and a true Leeds United man.
